Jules
Heading to the club, I couldnât keep from worrying about the other girls.
I turned to face Dom. âWill the girls be okay?â
âTheyâll be fine. We called some of your dadâs men in so weâre not strapped. Just in case.â
Letting out a breath, I lay my head back on the head rest and close my eyes.
Dom grabbed my hand and kissed it. âDonât worry, babe. Weâll protect you all.â
My brain just wouldnât stop. âWhat if we donât get him before Storm comes home? She canât handle going through anymore torture.â Wiping the stray tear that slipped out from my frustration, I steeled my resolve. Dom would find that bastard, no matter what. Pulling up to the gate of the clubhouse, we got out. I looked around, taking it all in. âI canât believe Iâm at the clubhouse of the Hangmenâs MC and my dad hasnât started World War Three.â I winked at Dom as two prospects approached.
Walking through the gate, we headed to the section designated for families for lock down purposes. I tilted my head at Dom. âSo, am I a prisoner, or can I roam the grounds? And what if some bitch gets in my face or makes a move on you in front of me?â
âJules, look at me.â He stopped, his face deadly serious. He grabbed my hand. âIâll let you go anywhere within the clubhouse. But you canât just walk up and punch a sweet butt, or anyone else that pisses you off, unless I say you can. Do you understand?â
I tried to keep a straight face. âYes, honey. I promise to not hit random dirty bitches without you knowing.â
He bent down and kissed my head. âLetâs go. I have people for you to meet. Theyâve been expecting us.â Dom tugged my hand and led me to the other side of the club. A set of solid oak double doors towered in front of us.
This must be chapel, I said to myself. This part didnât really make me nervous. I could handle bikers. Iâd done it all my life. Squeezing my hand, Dom used his other hand to hold the door open.
I walked in to meet my many new roommates.
